Windows Vista Launch Guide
Wednesday, January 31st, 2007
New Windows OS launches don’t happen all that often, but when they do the upgrade is usually a pretty exciting time, even if all you
really want is for the computer you use 16-hours a day to look and feel a little different for the first time in 5-years. The hype surrounding Windows Vista has been in full swing for more than a year, and many of the adventurous took the new OS for a spin while it was in public-Beta last year. If you missed it, check out our Windows Vista Journal Series in which we dove into the Beta 2 release: Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4. If you’d prefer to see Vista in action, take a look at the sweet G-Block episode where we show off all the cool bits: Vista G-Block.
Today Vista finally hits the streets for the consumer sector and Microsoft is making the most of the occasion. PC-manufacturers were disappointed when MS didn’t get Vista IGN: Windows Vista Launch Guide
