The New and Unexplored World of Vista

As old as Windows XP is, there’s something strangely comforting about it to a lot of people. We’re familiar with it, it’s been there for usvista aero1.jpg through the good times and the bad, and even though it may be outdated in a lot of ways, we know what to expect from it, and there’s a lot to be said for that. This can be illustrated in a scenario that involves restaurants. There may be times when you’re all for trying out that hip new restaurant in the city that claims to offer outstanding cuisine, but there are also going to be times (usually more plentiful) when you’d prefer to avoid the new eating experience that you’re not familiar with and stick with that restaurant down the road that may have been around for a few years and doesn’t have the upscale atmosphere of the new place, but you still love it nonetheless.

You know the owners, and you can count on a tasty meal. Perhaps you’re known so well that the waiters/waitresses even know exactly what you want to eat and drink before you even say a word. Sure, that illustration may have nothing to do with operating systems, but the core message behind it applies to Windows XP and Vista. Vista may be the new big thing, but many of us Windows users are still unsure about it. It’s received mixed reviews, and you will have to go out of your comfort zone to both try it out and get acclimated to how it works. With so many people saying that it’s not exactly worth the upgrade, users who aren’t on the cutting edge of technology and don’t care to be may be inclined to just stick with what they’ve got.
