The Great Windows Vista Robbery
Sunday, November 19th, 2006
It’s that time again when Bill Gates holds PC users for ransom in what’s becoming known as the
"Great Windows Vista Robbery", where true to Microsoft bullying monopoly-like fashion, the world’s No. 1 software maker releases its latest version of Windows named "Vista" and like their predecessor versions, support will magically disappear, forcing users to buy Vista are transfer the use of their PC to a boat anchor - environmental use permitting.
I absolutely refuse to critique Windows Vista. After a decade of under-handed tactics that no one’s been able to prove in court - not even the government - Bill Gates’ Microsoft is now revealing a peak into this wonderful, long-awaited upgrade to Windows. But in reality, I personally think it sucks. I mean, instead of throwing out its antiquated core programming, Microsoft has patched, repatched, over-patched and then patched again, its software in an attempt to make it both usable and safe from prying hackers and, oh ya, offer a new feature or two along the way.
