Prepare in advance for Microsoft Vista
Wednesday, November 1st, 2006
Windows Vista, the latest Microsoft PC operating system, is expected to be available as an
upgrade for consumers in January and will include many new features and improved security.
Five different editions of Vista are planned, each designed for different home or business computing situations.
But with new operating systems come potential hardware and software conflicts, because device drivers and programs written for one version of Windows may not work on another version of the operating system. Device drivers are little bits of software that tell the operating system how to work with the computer’s hardware.
