Having a bug bash with Windows Vista
Tuesday, May 30th, 2006
Over the last week, blogger Chris Pirillo has been making headlines with his two detailed lists filled
with Windows Vista feedback. While some may see Pirillo’s comments as heavy nitpicking, others may look at them as more reasons why Windows Vista still isn’t ready for primetime.
Most of Pirillo’s problems and/or comments were not too severe, but they begin to add up resulting in well over 100 issues. For instance, Pirillo found several inconsistencies in fonts. He also discovered old Windows dialog boxes. He says there are several places where the click of a button does absolutely nothing. Margins, customizations, thumbnails, browser speed, colors, screen flashes, animations, dead links…and the list goes on and on and on. Does it matter? M-Dollar: Having a bug bash with Windows Vista
