Saturday, July 15th, 2006

Bug Fix in public test version of Windows Vista operating system now allows users to install AVG avg_antivirus.gifAnti-Virus products. A programming error in Windows Vista Beta 2 had previously been affecting the successful installation of security products supplied by GRISOFT. The bug has been fixed by Microsoft allowing users of GRISOFT products to effectively complete installation.

Peter Cameron of Avalanche Technology Group encouraged AVG users who are looking to test Windows Vista Beta 2, to obtain the update via the Automatic Updates service for Windows Vista. After application of the update, AVG products can be installed and used without any further problems or restrictions. LinuxWorld | AVG Protection Available for Users of Windows Vista Beta 2
